The Playing Fields are located just to the north west of the village, down Kings Lane

There are three Football pitches, the new pavilion, and a children’s play area.

The fields were purchased in 1957, following fundraising started the year of the Queen’s coronation in 1953. Early maps often show the fields by the title of Coronation Playing Fields.

In 2007 we obtained planning permission to replace the ageing changing rooms and due to excellent fundraising and various funding grants work the new pavilion was completed in 2016 and is now available to hire out.

The field acts as the “home” to Ashcott FC.
