Ashcott SMB – Club Championships & Competitions

Each year, the Ashcott Short Mat Bowls Club hold their Singles and Pairs Competitions, usually in January and February.   Everybody is encouraged to take part and is generally a good day's bowling!

Currently we have approximately 30 members of all ages and abilities.

Finally, after the inclement weather over the Christmas period , our December  2010 competition took place on Sunday 30th January 2011. 

Ashcott Ladies Rounders Team

Ashcott Ladies Rounders team is a friendly, easy going group of ladies from (mostly) around the Ashcott area that enjoy playing rounders.  We currently play in two leagues.  A friendly Bridgwater league and the Somervale Rounders league (a more serious league) which is played in the Street Glastonbury area. Our home pitch is the Shapwick Cricket ground.

The present two captains are: Kay Dean, 210139 and Alison Evans, 210828.  Please contact either if you would like to join the team.

Ashcott Football Club

After several successful seasons as their own clubs respectively the trio of, Abbey Moor FC, Ashcott Youth FC and Tor Sports FC have now merged to create one club for the local community Ashcott FC in the aim to provide access to football for all age groups. The club is looking to build a sustainable future and establish and build a strong foundation within the local area.
