Polden Praise consists of a number of singers and instrumentalists including guitars, bass, piano/keyboards, violin, flute, recorders and bassoon. We play at several of the churches in the Polden Wheel group including Ashcott.

We are always looking for new members.

The aim of the U3A Line Dance group, held in Ashcott Village Hall, is to dance, enjoy the music and have a happy, sociable Monday morning to set us up for the week. This low impact exercise gives recognised health benefits for brain and body.

Women’s Institutes are more than just jam and Jerusalem! Ashcott & Pedwell W.I. is a lively group of ladies who enjoy various activities, talks, walks, lunches, debates, drama, quizzes, etc. etc.

Ashcott Playing Field Committee

Ashcott Coronation Playing Fields Committee was reformed in 2012 with members working towards improving and developing a bigger and better environment for Ashcott villagers.

The Parish Council received a generous donation of colourful trees from the Woodland Trust to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. These trees are due to be delivered in November and planted within the grounds of the Playing Fields. If you are interested in offering a helping hand or have gardening knowledge, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Nick Cave on 01458 210643.
